What was your inspiration?
My husband is diabetic and we have a hard time finding 100% whole-wheat bread for him. This recipe is all whole- grain and only a single teaspoon of honey is used. It's also very, very good!

You bet! It's been cool the last couple of days, so I'm baking and my house is full of yummy fragrances.
I am really jeallous :( ........... here in south central TX, with 119 degrees, I never feel like cooking anymore..... maybe for November, when we get the 90's I might....

Mom, they came awesome. I made them, because some of my ex-classmates from High school and me, got together at my place for dinner. Also, I made a fondue, with my late Spanniard granny's recipe, awesome combination. Thanks again for sharing. Oh, and BTW, house smell so great ;)
Oh, I'm so glad the bread came out nicely for you!! :) There's nothing quite like the fragrance of bread in the oven. If you like whole wheat, I have an absolutely yummy honey wheat recipe that I can put up for you or send to you.
