What was your inspiration?

I wanted to create a great Valentine's Day gift that would last longer than chocolates or flowers. I am always disappointed when the gorgeous flowers I get for Valentine's Day wilt away within three or four days. I also feel like "love" in your relationship is something you should express everyday and often. Sure, there is a specific day of the year that has been described as a day for love. But, we all know its Valentine's Day everyday.

What are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my finished product always. It is very empowering to create a project from conception to a finished, beautiful item. I really enjoy the whole creative process.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make it your own. Make something you will love. Don't copy someone else's work. Create a unique piece for your home.
