What was your inspiration?

The classic Feather and Fan stitch pattern, and my love of slouchy hats :D

What are you most proud of?

This pattern appeals to a lot of people! It's fairly simple and fun and uses only one 50g ball of DK weight yarn, which is an awesome way to stashbust.

What a lovely little hat! Sooooooo wish I could knit! I tried to learn last year, and after discovering I had too many thumbs for knitting, I switched to learning how to crochet. Your hat is just a doll! Kudos to you for sharing the pattern.

JUST what I've been looking for! I have a god-daughter who HATES wearing hats in the winter unless she just has to. I'm hoping that the cute, funky look will appeal to her, as well as the hat itself looks to "sit lightly" upon the head, helping her to be drawn to wearing it. If not---I'll not play the "BUT I MADE IT JUST FOR YOU", gambit! :)
