Assort fabric from my stash. Roses can be made any color
What was your inspiration?
My mother wanted a "Curtain" to hang over the oval in her front door. I had been working on an appliqued quilt that had a yellow rose block that I really liked.
What are you most proud of?
I set the blocks on point and used a nine patch block with yellows and greens. It kind of looks like a trellis I appliqued the butterflies just to add a little pop of color.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Pick a color and go for it. You could fussy cut a large rose print and do the same thing.
