What was your inspiration?
I was supplied art direction from an ad agency.
What are you most proud of?
This is my largest work so far with the snake width spanning 7.5". I like how I transitioned the colors on the snake, adding green to represent the iridescent nature of snake skin.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
I used regular quilling paper for the words because the spaces were so thin. I cut Canson Mi-Tientes paper for everything else because the extra thickness was needed to traverse a larger distance and hold its shape.
