What materials did you use? Cotton calico and thread is all that's needed- no buttons or zippers!

What are you most proud of? I made a couple of useful changes to Heather's instructions and give you a tutorial on hand stitching a narrow rolled hem. See them on my blog. http://www.picknstitch.com/2009/04/26/heather-ross-yard-sale-wrap-skirt/

What advice would you give someone starting this project? The hem will take the most time because you're circling your body one and a half times- just be patient! The results are worth it.

I love how your skirt turned out, but I don't understand why you would need to do the hem by hand. I would use a rolled hem foot on my sewing machine, or press and turn again, which I realize has to be done very carefully to come out right, but I KNOW I wouldn't have the patience to hand stitch it. I commend your patience, and am excellent tutorial.
