Still trying critique my color and shading. I think the textile medium makes the colors look faded in some of my projects. Any suggestions?

Yes, use a bit more color. It does fade the piece slightly. If you need to color lightly then I am sure that it is more noticeable. You are doing a great job. I am loving all your work. Keep up the good work.

Your coloring is fine. It appears that you want more color by what you are saying above. What I was trying to say below is that you probably need to color heavier so that you can get the actual color you want after applying the textile medium. I have applied more color to the piece after applying the textile medium with some success lately. You can also experiment with applying more color after you apply the textile medium.
