What materials did you use? Three sisters quilt fabric and various coordinating prints chosen by my daughter. This project started out as a duvet and pillow cover set. I bought too much fabric and had lots of various sized pieces. I started cutting them into 5 inch squares and then put them together. I had to piece together strips for sashing! I still have to quilt it and bind it but I think this bedrunner turned out nice and is a nice accent for the duvet.

What are you most proud of? Finally taking time to quilt!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use the blocks as your inspiration. I had limited fabric and was determined not to go searching for more so I used almost every scrap!
