Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Infant/Baby

Style: Cute

Materials

I used a blue and orange theme for a baby boy. The printed fabric is a dinosaur print.. I used all the leftover fabric for the back. I machine quilted an all over meander pattern. 1 1/2 yd orange. for blocks and bias binding 3 1/2 yds blue print for blocks and backing 1/2 yd white dot print 1 yd dard blue You can make it with or with out border and use more of less fabfic

What was your inspiration?

I made this as a baby gift for my Grandson. Blue and Orange were requested by mama and daddy. It was made with extra love and attention.

What are you most proud of?

I have just recently learned how to quilt on my domestic machine and love the way it turned out.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Have fun. Try turning the block different directions to make different all over patterns. Buy extra materials in case you want to do some experimentation here. I thought X's and O's was a fun pattern. It would also make a beautiful lattice quilt.
