What was your inspiration?

Wanted to knit my dad something which would last but also keep him very warm as he likes to work outside in his shed on his model railway so suffers the cold.

What are you most proud of?

That is fits him like a glove and he has not taken it off since I knitted this for him.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

i did not use Sirdar wool for this but used the large 1000 gm balls of wool which was cheaper and more economical, only used 2000 gms have enough spare to knit a hat and it only cost 20.00. Well worth shopping around and taking your time with. if you dont have a row counter a scrap of paper will do just as well to mark down how many rows you have done.
