Instructions

just be sure to get the thumb hole in the right spot. I found it easiest while stitching it up the side to sew it along both seams and then move to one side do 7ish (depending on how to you sew) stitches and then finish it on both sides. No knots, no fuss for thumb hole.

Wool yarn, green and purple - makes for super warm wristlets or single yarn version stretches without the bulk 8US size needles and 1 double point needle for cable

What was your inspiration?

I got arthritis and found these really helped create a bit of space where I needed it so I didn't have to grip things so tightly. Also they keep your whole hand warm despite only going up to your palm (keeps the blood in the center of you hand warmer so the fingers get warmer blood - that's my guess anyway).

What are you most proud of?

The cables, honestly something so simple can be so beautiful. If you're afraid of cables, don't be! This is a great first pattern for people who want to learn cables.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just be aware that the cables will be on the outside of your hand and not in the middle, I was a little disappointed to see that... but I don't conceptulize well... :)
