Instructions

I have posted a picture of the pattern pics and directions - hope this is helpful....

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Clothing

For: Girls

Style: Retro / Vintage

Materials

Cotton material recycled from old cot sheets and buttons

What was your inspiration?

My girls and a dress I bought from the markets! I also love recycling material and now that my girls are in big beds, I had this stack of beautiful cot sheets, just screaming out to be made into something new!

What are you most proud of?

Being made from recycled cot sheets which were presents in the first place, this dress cost me nothing but a little time!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Be careful getting the inside and outsides the same size, this was the first time I had made a dress like this and mine aren't quite exactly the same - you only really notice it when you are ironing it, but next time I will watch this more!

Aahhh thanks my mum used to make these for me in the 70's too, didn't realise the pattern had been around since the 60's though! Such a classic design!

hi there is a picture posted above, however I have just realised that you can't save or print these images, the only other option Craftsy provide is to give a link to website, but I don't have a website. I have sent a request to Craftsy to see if there is anyway I can attach a PDF or something to my project and will let you know what they say - sorry I can't be of more help at the moment...
