Instructions

I had to focus on "loose" weaving. I wasn't sure about the yarn and the loose weaving, but when I removed it from the dryer, it was love at first sight.

Difficulty:

Category: Weaving

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Casual, Cute

Materials

Loom: Cricket Yarn: Crystal Palace "Waikiki" Color: Cool Jazz

What was your inspiration?

Since I'm not familiar with what yarns "do" in weaving, I decided to join Cotton Clouds "Scarf of the Month Club for Cricket looms. I would never have picked this yarn (even though it is beautiful), but when it is washed and dried it is fantastic.

What are you most proud of?

I'm most proud of going outside my comfort zone. My selvages were very good (at least I thought so) for a loose weave.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't worry when the yarn moves around on the loom. After washing and drying, the finished project is beautiful. The drape is gorgeous. I have already ordered yarn for another one that will be a gift.
