What advice would you give someone starting this project? I need some advice, I notice at at times the bobbin thread comes up. I have a Brother SE400. I tried adjusting the tension, I can't adjust it any more than I have. Any suggestions on how to correct this? I'm using Sulky rayon thread.

You really shouldn't need to adjust the tension - I have mine at the neutral mark (the machine default setting) and only touch it if I'm using metallic or thicker thread. 90% of the time, when I get bobbin thread coming to the top of my design, this tells me that there is "schmutz" in the bobbin case between the spring where the thread goes thru. I can usually see it by looking at the little metal hole inside the bobbin case (take it out of the machine and look). I use a bright light to see if there are fibers there and use a pin to carefully pick them out. When you have fibers in that spring area, it can't "close" just like putting your foot in the door and the wind (bobbin thread) can come in much faster. The fibers can cause the tension on the bobbin thread to be reduced so the top thread has no problem pulling it to the top of the design. Check out page 152 of your manual for more information on cleaning!

By the way - lining up multiple hoop designs on a knit is not an easy thing to do. You should be SUPER PROUD of accomplishing this! Well done!
