What materials did you use? 2-sided lightweight denim

This was my 2nd jacket. I used Mettler cordonnet thread which was how I learned you really do need to bring your thread to the back and not backstitch!; I also got the whole yoke finished before realizing I hadn't added the pocket flaps but I actually like the look. I tried a pointed collar and I like it as well.

I had this great 2-sided denim and spent a crazy amount of time putting the pockets in so that the painted side showed. I think I'm an undiagnosed dyslexic! :)

I got my 2-sided denim at Gayfeather Fabrics in Madison Wi. They have a Facebook page. One of those little independent stores chock full of unique finds.
