What materials did you use? Fat Quarter bundle, extra yardage, thread

What are you most proud of? I love the way this one is coming together. Its basically 2 colors: white and shades of blue from pastel to deep navy in various patterns, value and scale. I plan to sash 3D and I'm attempting a pieced back using leftover fat quarters and scraps.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you see something you like make it your own. Don't hesitate to substitute another block for one you don't care for.

We sold our house and moved to Florida in the middle of making the blocks. Then my Mom passed away so I haven't done much quilting. I think I'm ready to start back. I just pulled it out the other day to see what I have done.

Oh I'm very sorry jfriel. I can't imagine two such big changes so close together. I feel for you my friend. We moved to FL too, three years ago now, only a few months after losing our son. Perhaps once you're settled we could meet. We live just east of Tampa. For now, take good care of yourself. Take the time you need to grieve and to get settled. Your beautiful quilting will be there when you're ready. ((((((((BIG HUG my friend))))))))
