What materials did you use? Stonehenge black/gray/white, balipop batiks from light blue to black. Aurifil for piecing, Isacord for the quilting. all done on my Janome 8900.

What are you most proud of? this is only my fifth quilt ever. This was a learning experience for sure. I free motion quilted it all myself, did quilt as you go binding, I also added a flange to my binding which I had never done. So the thing I"m most proud of is all the learning I did through making it.:)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take the intro to Bargello class. the tips really helped!!:) also if you want to make something big and don't want to hassle with it, try the quilt as you go binding method, it was super easy but seems like iit is going to be hard:)

I'm going to add a greek key border and some sashing but the hard piece is done!

Looks awesome, and the flame quilting works very nicely in this pattern! You just might have inspired me to try my hand again at bargello (my first attempt did not go well) Congrats, and please post more pics when it's done. ;-) :-) :-) :-)

Thanks! You made my day this is only my 5th quilt and first bargello, It was loads of fun, I think I would have ripped my hair out if I hadn't watched the Intro to Bargello class before starting, the tips really helped! Defiantly more pictures to come:) Happy quilting:)
