I haven't read the pattern yet but, I hope this is done in the round on the magic loop! While I haven't tried DPNs I don't really want to :( I'm scared.

DPNs are easy, if you're worried about dropping stitches either get long DPNs or use needle tips. Don't let fear hold you back!
