What was your inspiration?

My sister made a project similar to this one with autumn leaves. I love making crafts that are beautiful with materials that are not expensive.

What are you most proud of?

This project is easy enough for for children. My 4th and 5th grade students made them for Christmas last year and they turned out great.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Be creative and make it your own. Add a colorful scarf to your snowman, put mountains in the background, add a smaller snowman instead of one of the trees. I have found all colors of wool at the thrift shop, so I have made one with hearts for Valentine's Day and am working on a basket of eggs for Easter.
When it is done, it should make you smile to look at it. :)
