What was your inspiration?
My daughter who picked out the fabric.
What are you most proud of?
I made a costly error by not cutting the strips in the correct measurement for the blocks inbetween the circle blocks. Instead of giving up, I ended up cutting those strips into small 3 inch squares and then sewing those all together to create the final product. It was so time consuming but I won the battle.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Patience. There are many steps involved (cutting circles, ironing those onto the background square, sewing around the circle, etc.). It was all worth the effort.
