Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Quick-Strip Paper Piecing »

Instructions

I posted this already in another course because I was inspired by both classes The BOM course and this course on string quilts.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Funky, Whimsical

Materials

100 % cotton scraps and strips

What was your inspiration?

Two of my craftsy courses and the growing mound of scraps and strips all around me, LOL!

What are you most proud of?

I didn't give up!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

OMG!!!! Have fun and don't over think it.

Thanks Joyfulous. It really is. The only problem is, it keeps me away from my other projects! LOL! It's all good though.

Wow! - Too much fun - I don't know which I like better, the name you gave it, or the quilt!! Great use of all your scraps - thanks for sharing and inspiring us all to use up those leftovers!!

What a great way to use up all those chunky scraps I have in a bin that is marked cut up into squares. Would save a lot of cutting time for sure.

I would think this is something you pick up and do when you're stressed and just want to sew to relax. No pattern to worry about just "grab and sew" as you say. A lot like making string quilts.....just grab strips and add them one by one until the block is finished. No pattern, no color scheme, no strip sizes, just grab and sew
