What was your inspiration?

the fantastic BOM course!
Instructions so easy that made me want to start and make them stragiht away! In fact they took very little time to make.
They are not perfect, but I feel I learn as I make them, and know that the next ones will be better.

What are you most proud of?

being able to make them following the instructions... I hadn't imagined they could be so easy to make, and I've already used what I learned here to make other projects, e.g. appliqu of a Scottish flag on one of my sons' pyjamas.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

don't worry if they are not perfect at the beginning. you'll improve as you practice making them. the next blocks will surely come out neater...

Well done . love that shade of blue. Look forward to seeing more. No rush. Unfortunately sometimes other things really are more important.

Hi Pam, thanks for your comment on my blocks. I made all blocks up to April, and stopped following Amy Gibson's BOM as I had other , more urgent things to finish. I plan to continue, though, and promise to take pictures and post the rest of the blocks made up to now.
