What was your inspiration?
Amish quilts are one of my passions, and after doing several by hand, decided to let loose!
What are you most proud of?
My funky sunflower motif....it's going to show up in a lot of my upcoming work
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
have fun....I did not try for anywhere close to perfection, as I would with my hand-quilting projects...tried a lot of different approaches to fluidity and balance, and am happy with the funky-ness of the quilting in contrast to the formality of the design
