Instructions

These blocks were a fun way to work a number of fabrics into one quilt top!

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Home

Style: Funky, Mod

Materials

I started with a charm pack, honey bun and jelly roll, 2 half yard cuts, and some miscellaneous scraps. As I was sewing I added Crossweaves from a bundle I had stashed, and Kona/Bella solids that worked within the palette (which is varied!).

What was your inspiration?

I fell hard for these fabrics when they came out, and collected it until I had the perfect plan. I love seeing them all in one place!

What are you most proud of?

Having had fun making it! I often work on deadlines, this was just a project for me (which has yet to be finished!).

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't over think color combinations, part of the appeal in this quilt is the massive amounts of color!

I haven't seen a quilt or pattern that I have reacted to so quickly. It is absolutely beautiful! What makes this one so great is your use of color and pattern. I am fairly new to quilting so I imagine the pattern isn't so new Keep me up to date...
