What was your inspiration?
I saw the pattern and thought it looked cute and just had to make it.
What are you most proud of?
I love the way it looks with the brushed yarn and love how I made the band on the hat removable. I added elastic to the band so it doubles up as a headband.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
make sure you have the right saw hooks. The biggest size I own is an 8mm I had to adjust the pattern by adding more increases and extra rows. Also look at all the yarns available to you. I love the way the brushed yarn looks and feels. I feel for a prop set it gives it a softer look. some acrylic yarns I feel can look harsh to the eye in professional photos.
