What was your inspiration?
I was inspired by the large clear stone that a friend sent to me. I promised her I would make her a necklace out of it, but it had no hole drilled in it. So, I ventured into wire wrapping. You can probably tell that it is my first attempt as it is a little rough looking. But, not too bad for a first.
The green stone took forever to figure out how to wrap it....I'm still not completely satisfied with the result
What are you most proud of?
The overall design came out well. I've been anxious to try my hand at wire wrapping. I have a lot to learn, but I'm willing to put in the time to do it
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make sure you have plenty of time on your hands especially if it is your first attempt. Be patient and don't be stingy with the wire. I wish I hadn't cut mine so short to begin with.
You may want to practice with cheap wire before starting this
