Sea Glass from the Medicio Glass Beach (we collected it ourselves) and copper wire.
What was your inspiration?
The sea glass was the inspiration. It is so cool to hold it and imagen what it will look like. There are no holes in sea glass that you collect yourself, so you need to let your imgagenation take over and let the components kinda communicate with you.
What are you most proud of?
I am pround of the whole piece. I made the jumprings, fabricated a chain out of them, made the clasp out of copper wire, then used liver of sulfer to get the color I wanted. I wanted a deep contrasting look between the components in the piece.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Let your imganenation rule. If something is not working, no problem, start over. Don't be affraid to mess up some wire, cause that's how you learn!
