What materials did you use? Various colored Batik fat quarters and black Batik for background, and a set of Bali Hoffman Tiles, in the Splash color way.

What are you most proud of? You just have to love batiks on black fabric!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure you cut, and sew, accurately, because the cutting measurements are a bit out of the norm.

Wow the featured blocks are fabulous. The colors just jump and play. An absolutely beautiful project.

Another WOW Quilt from you, Dude! Very awsome piece of workl And so big! I love it, as Irish Chain is one favorite pattern of mine. I wondered, if your showcases are applications. It looks somewhat hawaian to me and very beautiful. You must have a professional quilting maschine for that one, do you? Again thanks a lot for sharing.

Hi there. The Tiles are just printed batiks, by Hoffman Bali. And my FMQ machine is my Janome Horizon 7700. It should do the job just fine. I will do some piecing for the backing, and thenI'll start quilting, so check back for the finished project!

Your quilt is amazing again. I do not like the black color, but most times the best choosing to the background fabric of quilts. You are a very good quilter. I wish you happy quilting, and very many idea of quilts. (Greetings from Hungary)

Anna, you always have such nice words about my work. Even if you don't like my black background, thank you! ;-) ;-) ;-)

Oh, no Dude, I love your quilt with the black background. Just I do not like the black colour. Of course sometimes I also use the black colour as a background in my quilts, because the black very well brings out the other colours. I hope you understand what I would like say, ( little difficult translate it) And really appreciate your quilting job. I love your quilts, most times you use those colours to your quilts what I also love. Happy Quilting Dude!

Thanks for clarifying, Anna! And I was just joking. I always appreciate your very nice comments about my work. I like black, but it's not always a color I use in my quilts but this one, I felt it was perfect to show off the bright blocks! Again, thanks for such kind and generous words, Anna. Have a great weekend!
