What are you most proud of? The second wing (the one of the left, using the 5.0mm H hook) came out much better than the first wing. Nice to find 30-year old skills coming back.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Use a lighter color yarn than I did. I couldn't find robin egg blue easily and I love the aubergine, but I'm sitting away from the light and working over a dark wood table, so I keep "losing" the stitching, visually. Alternatively, put down a contrasting throw under the work area and keep a gooseneck flashlight handy.
