What was your inspiration?

My dog doesn't have a true Westie 2 ply coat (pun intended) that sheds the water, so.....Mum to the rescue! And he just "loves" to wear it to boot.

What are you most proud of?

My first project beyond making scarfs & mitts

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Don't be afraid to try something more challenging. I taught myself to knit and to follow a pattern. When I didn't understand something I contacted the publisher of the book (since I didn't have access to the pattern designer) and the gracious woman who got in contact with me had knit the same pattern and walked me thru the trouble area : )
