Instructions

I made a practice run (muslin) with some fabric that was not special to me before I cut into my souvenir sweater knit wool. I had to make a few adjustments to the custom pattern so that they fit just right. Great instructions that are easy to follow and you can get great results.

What was your inspiration?

I love wearing leggings with EVERYTHING. I wear them under dresses, tunics and long sweatshirts. I wanted some made out of a wild sweater knit and I found just what I was looking for when I went to Mood Fabrics in October for a sewing get-away with my friends.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Make a practice pair first so that you can make small adjustments to the pattern. I needed to make a longer rise in mine because I like to wear them higher on my waist. My first try they were too low riding.
