I used bulky weight yarn and added 3 extra rounds of sc to fit my 8-year-old's head.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I think the 2 strands of worsted would look nicer than just using the bulky. I love the blue/white the original designer used.

I think I am going to try the two strands of yarn. I'm not sure yet what colors I will use.

I'm sure it will be lovely! The orignial designer used the same shade of blue I did with a white, and it was sooo pretty!
