What was your inspiration?

I love the look of bulky cowls, but living in Tennessee I don't get much wear out of them. I created this cowl so that body heat can pass through the lacy pattern so it doesn't seem so heavy. The lace pattern also adds a nice drape.

What are you most proud of?

The Winter Lace Cowl is a very simple pattern to follow, knitters of any skill level will enjoy making it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This is a super easy project. If you can knit, purl and work in the round, you can make this cowl. You can also adjust the size, making it longer so you can wrap it a couple of times around your neck, or higher if you want to pull it up over your head. You can find the pattern in my Etsy shop:
