What was your inspiration?

This is the second scarf I've made with this pattern - I decided it was time to write up the pattern for it and I knew I needed to sit down and work it up again in order to do that. The original piece was crocheted in a fantastic autumn colors vareigated yarn and so I wanted to do something a little different the second time around. It so happened that it was also submission time for the 2012 Vanna's Choice Contest, so I decided to use Glamour. I stared at all the different sparkly colors for way too long and finally decided on white. I matched up some pearlescent white beads and I was off! This version of the scarf reminds me of wintertime when it was a magical time. When fresh snow was amazing and beautiful and not just something I had to worry about driving in. When I could just sit and watch the lights twinkling through the snow and ice for hours. And with 370 beads this scarf certainly has a lot of sparkle! At approximately 6 long and just over 4 wide, this scarf is perfect for wearing both long and flowing as well as double wrapped for added warmth. Worn either way, it truly is an elegant accessory.

What are you most proud of?

Once I get all my written instructions and charting figured out so that they make sense, and take some decent tutorial photos, I'm going to publish this pattern. It'll be my first pattern for sale and it was my very first design!
