What materials did you use? Hand dyed fabrics, commercial fabrics, free machine embroidery

What are you most proud of? This was a photograph i had taken a couple of years ago and kept just waiting for inspiration to create a panel. I knew I wanted to create the panel but with Wendy's course I had the ideas and instructions to go ahead. Wendy had so many helpful tips and ideas I am always taking photographs with the ideas of panels now.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Always use your own material as inspiration as then it truly is your project. As long as you have scaled up to size and created all the templates, the rest is easy!! I was pleased that I had my own dyed fabrics which I used for the beach and sky as that makes it even more individual.

I love this! The sky and sea are very effective.
