The reverse side of the quilt
What materials did you use?
Love the scrappiness of this - all the colors look great!
I always admire two-sided quilts - this is fantastic!
How can we get this pattern?
The pattern is from a book called "Colour Shuffle" by Karla Alexander and the pattern is called "Square Adaptations".
I have looked up colour shuffle - however I don't see it in the 5 or 6 pages that it brings up... am I doing it wrong??????
Err....not sure if I can help you. On the book that I borrowed from the library, the pattern is on page 91 and it gives you the basic pattern to make the "window block" and the skewed 4 patch block. Just make however many you need to create the size of the quilt you want. The back of the quilt is just a 12 inch nine-patch block sliced right through the middle to yield four off center 4 patch blocks. I made 36 of them (ie 9 of the 12" nine-patch blocks) and just sewed them together. This link gives you an idea of how the reverse side of the quilt is created. http://fiberfantasies.wordpress.com/2008/02/19/making-hodgepodge/ However, I didn't use a central repeating colour. Hope that helps!
Love that it is two sided!!! Beautiful use of colour :) I'm going to have to look up this pattern - thanks!!!!
