What are you most proud of? Finishing this block! I mean... Four of them! This was my first official paper-pieced block, but had many failed attempts before watching Amy's class, so it's a major victory for me!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Watch Amy's October class! Even if she is teaching with a different pattern, try her technique -it just makes things much, much easier... Thanks Amy!

Love the origami cranes, so symbolic of your in-laws time in Japan. Impressive points, even using paper piecing they are still a fiddle. Your machine cover is a real memory quilt, great job.
