Instructions

Scraped old paint off vintage window frame and painted to match decor. Sanded paint to give it vintage look. Made 9 scrapbook "pages" to fit glass using 4 x 6 pictures. Attached each "page" to top of glass with glue dots.

What was your inspiration?

I had seen some ideas on using scrapbook pages for home decor. I like the look of the vintage window frames and combined them to make a photo gallery.

What are you most proud of?

I like how well the pages go together.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

I started out using pictures that were too big. Once I reduced the pictures to 4 x 6 size, it worked out better and I was able to use scrapbooking techniques along with the pictures. I also used papers that coordinated for each picture so they all went together. I decided to do a family history and used pictures of my family at different stages in our lives.
