What are you most proud of? The finished look and coming up with the design.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? make sure the tree is stable before you start to pipe the leaves on with royal icing.

This is AMAZING! You receive my highest admiration for this creation. I'm also happy that it was for a farm'er's 70th birthday as my dad is a "gentleman" farmer in his 70s and loves running the farms along with other interests with my brother. He would just LOVE something like this on a cake. It makes it even nicer that a weeping willow is one of my all time favorite trees and this looks like a willow to me. Do you have any pictures of the entire cake for the farmer? I would give almost anything to see it.
