I used the cricut Animal Kingdom cartridge. I cut multiple chipboard pages and covered them with patterned paper. the pages are all 6" wide. Following are the sizes of the pages; page 1 is 3", 2 is 4 3/4", page 3 is 6 1/2", page 4 is 8", page 5 is 9 1/2", page 6 is 10 1/2" and the back cover is 12". I cut out the animals in chipboard using the blackout feature and then covered them as well. the Lion was cut at 4", Zebra is 6", Tiger is 6", Parrot is 10", Monkey at 6" and Giraffe is at 11 1/2". Also I cut the layers for the animals. The very back page has the word "WILD" at the top. when the back page is opened all the way, you'll actually see then the entire phrase "wild About You".
What was your inspiration?
I saw something similar on a site about two years ago, received this cricut cartridge and wanted to do something different.
What are you most proud of?
I just love scrap booking especially pictures of my grandchildren!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This one is a little more advanced. I always try making a template first before I cut good card stock especially when I am attempting to size a project, I have ruined to many sheets of great paper in the past.
