While working on this quilt I realize that I don't like doing this technique with dark colors. So I won't again....:-)

What pencils do you use to get such vivid colors? The dark colors in the background really make your main subject pop. This is absolutely beautiful!

Thank you, your very kind. I use crayola crayons and layer, blend, layer, blend, layer blend until I like the colours. Sometimes I can us up to 5 colours in one area.

What a lot of work you've put in on this. It's certainly paid off, as it's a superb work of art (and I don't agree with you about the dark colours - I think they're great)! Well done!
