What was your inspiration?
The horse is part of an incomplete drawing begun around 2003. The rest of the image will someday include a black bat-winged horse with a mane and tail of fire, as well as Earth.
What are you most proud of?
Its completion.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Be able to organize and track many strings; despite having only 4 colors, materials efficiency in a project like this requires many different strings. Weaving strings across many stitches is also a good skill, but should be balanced with the previous statement.
