I have really loved this class. I made my shirt out of linen because that is what I had at home. I wore it to a very fancy luncheon today and got so many compliments. Linda is such a through teacher and I am ready to try it in silk. My only problem was the shoulder seam was about an inch too low. I used a small for the top and graduated to a medium in the body. I was just not sure how to alter the sleeve cap since the rest of the sleeve fit. Would love some hints. Can`t wait to take another class! Sue W.

This shirt looks really elegant. I like the sleeve length too.

This is really gorgeous! Seems to me, you might try pinning the sleeve of this shirt up to where you would like it to sit and see if the cap is large enough. There might be enough ease in the sleeve to recut the armhole so the shoulder is sitting where you want it to. If not, measure the armhole then the sleeve cap. You might have to use the medium sleeve cap but I seriously doubt it.

I made the size medium and really think I should have made a small for the chest and shoulders. Thanks for the comment. I am going to make it again and will work with the shoulders. Otherwise, I love the pattern.
