White chocolate cake recipe, white chocolate ganache, caster sugar and water to spin sugar
What was your inspiration?
My daughters 7th birthday. She wanted the same cake as I made her Gran, which had bramble, lavender and rose compote inside the layers, but her friend who came over for her birthday, didn't like soft fruits, or jam, so I had to improvise Half is with jam and half plain. Usually I put a lovely rose on top, but be because it is winter and we have no flowers in the garden, I thought spun sugar would look good.
What are you most proud of?
The spun sugar, first time I've done it and it's not a disaster, took a long time tho.
