What materials did you use? Layer cake from Hannah's Store

What are you most proud of? Taking the time to match all the seams and completing it, and doing a good job on it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be open to try new things and use the tips to help you make a quilt where the seems match. Remember to enjoy yourself too!

I love the fabric and the pattern. Have you thought about straight line quilting instead of stitch in the ditch? It is so much easier and gives your quilts a special look - it makes it look like you did more piecing than you actually did. You would just go corner to corner between the blocks instead of on the seam line in the blocks. With a block like this, you wouldn't even have to use a hera or marking pen.

That's a good idea. I have done baby quilts before making a design, but I use masking tape to mark my design and then sew either below or above it. I do like that look. Sometimes I get into the the rut of doing something out of habit. I will work on my next one like that. Thanks for a good idea! Merry Christmas!

Hi - love the fabric (and of course the windmills) :) Can you tell me what fabric collection this is?

I believe it is Moda. It's been awhile since I did this.
