I have made a Jelly Roll Race quilt and if you make a narrow border I would use option 6 because it makes a really nice finishing frame and makes the colours of the quilt pop. Just my humble opinion!

What a great way to get all your fruit and veggies, I'm just not convinced this quilt NEEDS a border tho!

perhaps a small first border of the carrots then a wider outer boarder of the purple blue?

I have the same issues, I have made 2 jellyroll race tops and now cant decide how to border them. I don't know the batik carrots spoken of but was thinking plain material to frame myself. Good luck choosing

Yup, batik carrots! Unless you are planning on a border which is wider than your strips... because then it would dominate. Playful is perfect for your quilt, but don't take away from the great flow and vibrance of the actual center work. If you are thinking of using the pale fabric for the backing, another great option would be the blue and green vines of Option 4. Have you thought about making a binding out of the same jellyroll races strips?
