What materials did you use? Yarn: Valley Yarns Berkshire Bulky (85% wool, 15% alpaca); 100gr/108 yds. One ball. Needles : US 10.5 16 circular or dpn. Notions: Cable needle, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

What are you most proud of? This is a very quick project that uses only about 105 yards of yarn so it's nice for gifts. And it's so-o-o cozy!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you prefer knitting with circulars rather than dpns, this can be done on a 16" needles (it gets easier after the first few increases). If you've done cables before, this project is a breeze. Just choose a nice soft yarn that you'd like to have around your neck.

This is breathtaking. I am typically not a lover of cowls (mainly because I find them a little too elaborate in most cases), but yours is so wonderfully detailed, practical, and sophisticated. I just visited your website and am loving what I am seeing. Thanks so much for sharing!
