Instructions

These are the socks I was working on when we filmed the video and that I hadn't finished yet. I altered the gauge to work with the yarn I had and the size of my feet, so I ran a six-stitch lace pattern up the back of the leg to make the stitch count come out right.

Category: Knitting

Beautiful. I am a crocheter of lots of hats. Have only knitted one hat, last year. My mom was a knitter, lots of socks. Now my X-sis-in-law knits socks for me. Love hand knit wool socks for winter. We are both hand spinners. She loves the Gift Card I get her for our local fiber store each Xmas. She is the one who got me hooked on spinning and weaving 30+ years ago. I enjoyed your course, though I'm not sure I'd spin from a raw fleece again. A couple neighbors have sheep. Maybe I'll drop by and ask about them, see if they have any soft clean fleeces next year

They are beautiful. I am hoping that by taking the Craftsy courses on knitting socks I will feel more confident about altering patterns or changing recommended wool.
