I bought this material to slipcover a vanity bench for my granddaughter's bedroom. I got the idea from her comforter set! Thank you Craftsy for teaching me paper piecing!
What was your inspiration?
My granddaughter's comforter set. I had just finished painting her bedroom from pink to beige. She is 7 years old and a tomboy. She didn't like her pink walls anymore. She received a new comforter as a gift. Cat In the Hat! I looked at her flowered vanity bench and thought I've got to change that to match! Her Daddy let me bring it home. I can't wait till she sees it!
What are you most proud of?
Learning to paper piece. After learning this technique I was able to apply it to this idea! I really thought it would take me longer than a weekend.
