Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Wee Ones: Seamless Knit Toys »

Instructions

I enjoy lots of color, so I used Cascade Paints for this project.
I also added some rows to the sweater (adding extra stitches here and there) and turned the sweater into a dress. It seemed appropriate since the elephant is very girly!

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Toy

For: Children

Style: Cute, Whimsical

Materials

Cascade 220 Paints,

What was your inspiration?

A need for spring and bright colors were the inspiration for the yarn. I wasn't sure who would be the recipient of this sweetheart, but I couldn't wait to make it!

What are you most proud of?

Learning a lot of new techniques, and the finished toy is just so darned cute.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take it easy and enjoy. Toys should be fun to make, so don't let yourself get frustrated over something like a short row ( note to self)....
I am working on a blue one for my daughter and I zipped right past the hardest part and am having so much fun with it!
